Prediction:

Team

This will be another showdown of the number one and number two ranked teams in the OCC Poll and in OHRunners Top 25 Teams, just like in the Tiffin Regional Meet.  Medina (number 2 OATCCC; number 1 OHRunners) and St. John's Jesuit (1; 2) will battle it out to be the State Champion with Medina likely coming out on top.  Ever since Medina traveled down to Virginia and won the McDonald's Maymont X-Country Festival they have been unstoppable, and they are OHRunners pick to be State Champion.  St. John's Jesuit, who started the season running blazing times, will likely be runner-up.  Look for a battle for the third through fifth spots.  Centerville (7; 4), Mason (15; 10), Hilliard Davidson (6; 6), BB Heights (13; 3), Lakewood (5; 9), North Canton Hoover (3; 11) and St. Ignatius (9; 7) all could challenge for the top two spots.  Both Centerville and BB Heights have been RACING the past few weeks, they have run well, but they are racing even better.   Centerville could move into the third spot, supplanting BB Heights and Hoover. Hoover will likely finish fourth with BB Heights coming in fifth.

Note: (#A; #B), #A is the teams rank in the OATCCC Poll, whereas #B is the teams rank in OHRunners Top 25 Team Rankings.  Their is one OATCCC Poll for each division and gender, but only one OHRunners Top 25 Team Rankings for each gender.

Prediction:

Team

While North Canton Hoover (number 1 OATCCC; number 2 OHRunners) finished fourth in their region, you can't count them out as a contender for the team title at the horsetrack.  The ladies DI race could be even tighter than the men's DI race.  Magnificat (4; 14), Massillon Jackson (2; 19) and North Canton Hoover, all out of the Youngstown/Boardman region have legitimate shots at taking home the team title.  To go along with those teams you can throw in Kings (5; 7), Mason (16; 4), BB Heights (8; 1), Colerain (3; 3) and even Springboro (7; 9) into that mix of contenders.  Look for BB Heights to run really well as they have been all post season and take home a State Title.  Colerain looks strong and will likely finish in as the runner-up. Mason and Kings will battle it out for the third and fourth spots, with the nod for third place going to Mason, who defeated Kings at the Pickerington North Regional.  The fifth and final spot could go anyway, with Medina, (25; 5), Springboro, Magnificat and Massillon Jackson all having a great shot.  Look for Massillon Jackson to jump in and claim the fifth spot over these strong teams.

Ten Individuals to Watch

Prediction:

Team

Woodridge (number 1 OATCC; number 5 OHRunners) should roll to an impressive victory.  Walsh Jesuit (3; 18) or Claymont (6; 25) should challenge each other to be the runner up.  The edge goes to Claymont here since they have been running hot as of late, and their momentum should carry on to the State Meet.  Walsh Jesuit in the third spot.  Tippecanoe (4; 15) had an impressive Regional Meet at Troy and will likely finish fourth, with Canal Winchester (2; 17) right behind them in the fifth spot.

Ten Individuals to Watch

Prediction:

Team

By beating CVCA (number 1 OATCCC; number 18 OHRunner), Beaumont (3; 24) becomes the instant favorite.  This race was won on the sixth place runner, so look for CVCA to avenge their loss and run out of their minds at the horsetrack, but still finish runner-up to a strong Alter team (2; 11).  Alter (2; 11), who has finished runner-up numerous times should make a push to be in the mix to bring home the big trophy. Beaumont will likely finish a close third to CVCA.  Milton Union (6; 23), Defiance (4; 8) and Springfield Northwestern (11; 17) all have a good shot at trying to finish in the top five.  Look for Defiance to run well and place fourth, with Milton Union hot on their heels.

Ten Individuals to Watch

Emily Infeld, Beaumont; Hilary Esslestein, Alter; Chelsea Oswald, Walsh Jesuit; Abbie Clifford, Perry; Jessica Zangmeister, Fairview; Rachel Huddle, Napoleon; Bailey Ulinski, Eastwood; Ashley Rockwood, Beaumont; Lauren Adkins, Galia Academy; and Lauren Fett, Defiance.

Prediction:

Team

St. Thomas Aquinas (number 1 OATCCC; number 21 OHRunners) is the cream of the crop on the men's side for DIII, but it will be a tight race with McDonald (2; 24), a regional foe, and Toledo Christian (4; 23).  Toledo Christian could be a double runner up, the first coming at their Regional meet and the second coming at the State Meet, if their three through five runners run well.  This would leave McDonald to be the third place team.  St. John's Central (3; NR) and Mount Gilead (9; NR) will battle it out for the fourth and fifth place spots.  Mount Gilead will try to avenge their Regional loss to St. John's Central, but will likely fall short, unless their fourth and fifth runners step it up.  Russia (5; NR) is a team that could also challenge for a top five spot.

Ten Individuals to Watch

John Luttrell, Dayton Christian; Walter Lutrell, Dayton Christian; Nick Thomas, Delta; Isaac Potes, Fredericktown; Ryan Green, Elmwood; Elliot Livenspager, West Unity Hilltop; Tony Migliozzi, St. Thomas Aquinas; Colin Cotton, Summit Country Day; Nate Addessi, St. Thomas Aquinas; and Landon Hamilton, Pymatuning Valley.

Prediction:

Team

This will be another repeat of a Regional matchup for the State Crown.  Seneca East (number 1 OATCCC, number 6 OHrunner) is the favorite after beating Minster (2; 13) at the Troy Regional race, 71-92. Four teams from the Troy Region could finish in the top five or six at the horsetrack, with Seneca East taking home the title, followed closely by Minster.  Gilmour Academy (4; NR) will likely run in the three spot on the strength of their pack. Fourth place should go to Versailles (3; NR), who will look to rebound and beat out Fort Loramie (5; NR), who they finished behind at their regional.  Fort Loramie or St. John's Central (6; NR) will fight for the fifth spot, with St. John's Central just edging out Fort Loramie.

Ten Individuals to Watch

Stephanie Morgan, Barnesville; Brittany Stockmaster, Seneca East; Janel Olberding, Fort Loramie; Ashley Fisher, Gibsonburg; Audrey Maheu, John F. Kennedy; Natalie Perzanowski, St. John's Central; Shayla Siefker, Ottoville; Jessica Phillips, Seneca East; Alexa Stults, Old Fort; and Katie Borchers, Russia.
