North Royalton's Kristen Denk had a fantastic Senior year highlighted by a win at the New Balance Nationals Indoors in the Pole Vault, where she won with a vault of 13-8.5, setting an All Time Ohio girls record. She won the OATCCC Indoor D1 Pole Vault with a jump of 13-5. She won the D1 OHSAA State Meet with a vault of 13-6 which set a new D1, State Meet and Owens Stadium Record. She was 2nd in the Midwest Meet of Champions going 13-3, 4th in the New Balance Nationals Outdoors with a vault of 13-3.5 and 2nd in the USATF Jr. Nationals Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 13-5.
