The NEOITC White Division #3 meet, held at SPIRE on Friday evening, quickly turned into the Joe Gillette show. The senior from Strongsville captured four wins and set new personal best times / marks in each event. Two of Gillette's victories occurred on the track and the other two came in field event competition.
His performances were:
60m / 7.12 -- (Ohio tie for #21)
200m / 22.95 -- (Ohio #17)
Long Jump / 20-1.5 -- (Ohio tie for #26)
High Jump / 6-4 -- (Ohio tie for #5)
Gillette's teammate, Jack Mott also had a successful meet. The senior took the 800m race win in a time of 2:01.14.
