The OATCCC Indoor State meet is set to kick off this Friday and features some of the top track and field talents in the country. In preparation of MileSplit Ohio's livestream, click here to watch, our team has been looking over the entry list and found 10 athletes to keep an eye on.
Sanai Lynch, a senior at Wayne High School is predicted to perform strongly in the Triple and Long Jump. Lynch has placed first or second in almost every jumping event she's competed in this indoor season, resulting in 11 first place finishes across the two events. Lynch has greatly improved in the off season, with her long jump going from a 16-10 at last years D1 state meet to a 19 at Wittenberg #1. She's also looking to dominate the triple jump as she is seeded 2 feet over the 2nd seed in the event.

Justin Braun,a senior at Westerville Central High School and University of Southern California commit, is looking to continue his record breaking dominance in the 60 and 200 sprints. Braun is a national talent being ranked 5th in the 200 and 8th in the 60 nationally.
The St. Edward Boys 4x800 relay team is looking to break the 8:00 barrier, as their current PR is an 8:01. That 8:01 is good enough to net them Ohio #1 in the 4x800 and #20 nationally.
The Hilliard Davidson Girls are hunting down a victory in the 4x800m. They are coming in as Ohio's #2 in the 4x800 and are ranked #40 nationally.
Olivia Pace, a sophomore at Westerville Central High School, wants to defend her indoor title in the 60 and claim the 200 title as her own. Pace is ranked Ohio #1 in the 60 and #2 in the 200. As the only sophomore on this list Pace still has bigger things to come and has already begun to attend national level meets, such as the VA showcase.
Morgan Monesmith, a senior at the Hathaway Brown School and Princeton University commit, should put on an impressive show in the 1600 and 800. Monesmith is a national talent being ranked #3 in the 1600 and #10 in the 800 nationally. Monesmith is coming off of a 3rd place finish at the state cross country championship in the division 1 race.
Alexis Cain, a senior at Euclid High School, is looking to end her indoor season with two medals around neck. Cain is currently ranked as Ohio #1 in both the 400 and the 200. Cain has dominated this season, finishing first in nearly every race she has competed in.

Connor Ackley, a junior at Hilliard Davidson High School, wants to continue his victory streak, having placed first in every 1600 and 3200 he's competed in this season. Ackley took second place in the division 1 race at the state cross country championship this past fall.
