Scipione is a senior from Solon, who has already made his mark this season by winning the Ashland CC Invitational in a time of 16:07.10. He has qualified to the cross country state meet the past two seasons, and landed on the podium during the indoor season where he ran a blazing 9:18.94 at the indoor state meet to place third. Scipione also surged to a state qualifying time in the 3200m this outdoor season, running 9:28.40 and placing 2nd at the super regional meet.
A senior from Clear Fork, Neal, is quickly chipping away at her marks. During the last cross country season, she dropped nearly three minutes off her personal-best from 2024 by running 18:47.19. Why not drop another 30 seconds in the second week of racing the 2026 season? That's exactly what she did by running 18:16.89 at the Kipp Kinn Invitational. The next week she followed that up with a 18:20.90 at the Highland Flying Scots Cross Country Invitational. She has won all three of her races so far this year. Neal completed the double at the outdoor state meet this past season, entering the sub-5 and sub-11 club in the 1600m-3200m double.
