-Tell us how your summer training is going?

Extremely well. I'm beginning a big increase in mileage.


-What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My goals are to simply have better times and places than last year.


-How long have you been running and how did you get started?

I've been running since the fall of 2007. I started running for the social aspect, but it turned out I was a pretty decent runner.


-Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?

Yes. I will be competing at Cabell Midland High School.


-What is your favorite course to run in Ohio?

Gallion Invitational. It's extremely flat and fast.


-What is the toughest course to run in Ohio?

Any course in the south east. There are a lot of hills.


-What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?

Gallion invitational. It's an extremely fast course with a lot of good competition.


-What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?

2011 State Cross Country Meet. I ran extremely well and placed as all-state.


-Favorite cross country memory?

There are so many, I don't think i could choose.


-When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?

Sleep and eat.


-Favorite quote?

"Your best times are your fastest times."


-What's on your Ipod when you go out for runs?

I don't listen to music when I run, but our team always sings on long runs.


-What professional athlete would you most like to meet?

Usain Bolt. He's the fastest man in the world!
