The Rod Russell Mason Invitational this weekend promises to be a great event.  Things kick off with field events at 4:15, and running prelims of the short sprints at 4:30.   After Senior Night and the 4x800s the meet begins.

2011 Wayne Invitational Preview

It's been a whirlwind last couple of weeks since our team was announced to be able to go to the Nike Track Nationals meet in Eugene, Oregon.  Find out what it's like to go from one coach's perspective.

A great night for track and field was noticed by all at the 13th annual Wayne Invitational, held at Good Samaritan Athletic Fields at Heidkamp stadium.  When it was all said and done, over 87 National elite marks were set, including a new state record in the boys hammer throw, as well as a new Division 2 girls long jump record.  8 meet records were set, as well as established marks for two new events in the hammer throw and triple jump.

This year’s Wayne Invitational will bring out some of the best talent statewide in track and field.  Individual state champions as well as former team champions are recognizable when you see the teams competing.

4/21/10 Weekly Update

The first "true" High School meet was held this past weekend at Ohio Northern University.  Big Marks Include Eastwood Senior, Justin Welch, toss of 76-6 in the Weight Throw and Wayne's Demoye Bogle taking first in the 55m Dash in a time of 6.50.

This year’s Endurance Sports Wayne Invitational may go down as one of the best ever, and that’s saying a lot, considering who has set foot on this track in the past.  Names like Piqua’s Brandon Saine
