St. Ursula Academy's Annie Heffernan was one of the best female High School distance runners in Ohio over the past several years. She was undefeated in the 2014 XC season in Ohio, but did not run in the State meet due to an injury. She was the D1 Champion in 2013 (10:31.39) running undefeated in Ohio. She finished her Ohio Indoor career with her 3rd OATCCC Indoor State 3,200m championship, undefeated in the 3,200 in Ohio indoors during her High School carreer. Outdoors on the track, she capped of her career with a D1 win in the 3,200 with a time of 10:45.37 and a D1 win in 1,600 with a time of 4:48.39. Remarkably, indoors and outdoors in Ohio in her career, she ran the 1,600 23 times with 22 wins! In the 3,200 she ran 28 times, with 27 wins!
