McKenzie Long (right) took a close win over Mia Knight in the 100m race.
In the 17-18 division, McKenzie Long of the Ohio Heat won the 100m race in 12.20 and she also won the 200m event with her 24.54 result. Mia Knight of the Cleveland Express took 2nd place in the 100m and 3rd place in the 200m and her teammate Caisja Chandler secured 3rd place in the 100m and 2nd place in the 200m. Knight's times were 12.35 and 25.37 and Chandler recorded results of 12.37 and 24.57.
McKenzie Long and Caisja Chandler had a spirited race to the finish line in the 200m event.
