Ohio Athletes Post Strong Results At Foot Locker Nationals

Chad Johnson claimed 11th place with his 15:46.60 clocking.

Johnson was the first Ohio athlete to cross the line as the senior from Galion ran a tactical race which saw him move up from around 30th place in the early stages to his final placement of 11th.  Johnson, who dominated DIII racing in Ohio in 2017, had only run in a pack once previously this season during the Foot Locker Midwest Regional meet in Wisconsin.  He ends the season as the back to back DIII Ohio State Champion and the 19th ranked athlete nation-wide from his 14:54.88 result at his school's home invitational in August.  Johnson will compete for the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames next year.
