Colby Alexander (pictured at right), a senior from Strongsville, qualified for the Foot Locker Cross Country Nationals by finishing seventh with a time of 15:49 at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional Cross Country Championship in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The top 10 finishers qualify to run at the Foot Locker Cross Country Nationals on Saturday December 12th at Balboa Park in San Diego California. Good Luck Colby!
Other top male finishers from Ohio included Ryan Polman of Independence (32nd, 16:19), Connor Paez of Solon (35th, 16:20), Dylan Papp of Green (37th, 16:23) and Kyle Wheeler of Green (41st, 16:27).
On the girls side, the top five finishing Ohioans were: Carly Hamilton of Springboro (33rd, 19:13); Paige Szabat of Wadsworth (65th, 19:39); Deanna Kreider of Mentor (80th, 20:00); Nicole Cargill of Wadsworth (96th, 20:22); and Ashley Figel of Celina (101st, 20:25).
