The 2023 Mid-East Cross Country Championships is scheduled for Saturday, November 18th at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering. 

The annual showcase of senior class runners features entrants from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. While the competitive element is important, the Mid-East Championships provides athletes with so much more.

Namely, an opportunity to get to know other seniors from across the state and beyond state lines plus recreational activities and a top notch post-race banquet. 

Used by seniors as one last opportunity to line-up in XC as a high school'er or as a bridge to upcoming races such as Foot Locker Midwest or RunningLane, whatever the purpose the meet provides great value.

Indian Riffle Park is a tough but fair course and with a small overall field, athletes can easily get out in space and put their skills to the test. 

A collection of some of Ohio's best ever distance talent has gone through the Mid-East program in recent years, including Dustin Horter (2017 champion), William Zegarski (2021 champion) and Grace Hartman (2021 runner-up).

MileSplit Ohio will have a team on the grounds for video, photo and social media coverage.
