Chris Uhle of Olentangy Liberty broke the all time Ohio Record with a vault of 16-6 at Olentangy Liberty Freedom Relays this past Saturday, this is currently the 5th best jump in the nation so far this year. Chris broke the previous overall state record of 16-4 by John Coyne of Buckeye High School in 1986.
Justin Welch of Pemberville Eastwood also launched the discus 202-0 at a tri meet at Gibsonburg on Wednesday. This is a new Ohio leading mark and the second best in the nation so far this year.
Dustin Brode of Canfield threw the shot a state leading 69-11.25 at a dual meet at Canfield on Tuesday. This throw is also the second best throw in the nation so far this year.
