"Evan attends St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. During the 2021 season, Evan won the D1 races at the Tiffin Carnival, Galion Invitational, and Legends Invitational. Evan finished 5th at the Youngstown Regional and 18th at the D1 state meet with a time of 15:39.30. Evan won the Northwest Regional in the 3200 meters and was 10th at the D1 state meet during the 2021 track season. Evan has personal bests of 15:30 for 5-K in cross country, 9:17 for 3200 meters, and 4:20 for 1600 meters."

"Team Captain Aiden Amshoff played a key role in Mason's 2021 Division 1 State Championship. He provided solid leadership for the team throughout the season. He was Mason's number one man in all but two meets of the year. He was conference champion, being named Greater Miami Conference Runner of the Year. His 20th place at the state championship not only aided his team in winning but also earned him a selection as All-Ohio. His best cross country time is 15:38."
