The fall sports season kicks off this week for local high schools and this Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 marks the 3rd annual Moeller Primetime Invitational sponsored by Buckeye Running Company at the Bruin Golf Course in Kings. Lights, camera, action! Those are the steps Cincinnati cross country runners are following this upcoming weekend. The 2nd annual Moeller Primetime Invitational will take place Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at the Bruin Golf Course in Kings under the lights. “Not only are we anxious to showcase the talent of our team under the Friday night lights, that were once commonly held only for high school football, but that of all teams competing in this event, and to promote the sport of high school cross country running to the causal sports fan,” Moeller head coach Dave Prenger said.

With 41 schools and 17 conferences represented, the Wayne Invitational will have interest piqued across the state. The meet has grown to one of the premeir events to showcase talented teams and individuals in Southwestern Ohio as well as across the state. This meet will be a true balance of sprints, hurdles, distance and field events. The team championship is truly up for grabs, for both boys and girls.
