It was a great day of racing last Saturday at Boardman during the annual Spartan XC Invitational with many 5 kilometer contests taking place at the high school level.
It's worth noting that the weather varied from early morning to late afternoon with cool temps to launch the day and very warm conditions to negotiate in the latter stages.
Also, with well over 4,200 finishers crossing the line the course footing terrain likely played a little differently for competitors from race-to-race.
